Summer Polka Dot Nails

These are nails that I've had last year, it's very colorful and perfect for spring or summer! I used pastel colors but you can use any colors you have in your nail polish collection and it will still look great!

The colors I used for this are:
Claire's Mini Polish Set (Yellow, Green, Purple)
O.P.I Italian Love Affair
O.P.I Born to be A-lone Star
Milani White

First I painted the tips of my nails with all of the different colors. If you're having trouble painting straight when you do the tips, you can try a french manicure tape, if you don't have that handy you could even use regular tape and I found that it works just as fine!

Next paint the dots on with the white polish. You could use a bobby pin to paint the dots but using the brush of the polish like a stamp (make sure to dab the extra polish off before dotting!) will work too.

Cover with top coat, then you are done!

If you want to go above and beyond, you could even put decorations on your nails like the picture below! I bought the fruit slices on eBay for $.99 and the pearls for maybe like $1.25.

Gold Glitter French Tip Nails

This is one of my nail art designs from earlier in the year. It's actually more of a look that's perfect for the holiday seasons, but can be pulled off all-year round!

The colors I used for this are:
Milani - Jewel FX Gold
(the left one in the picture)

First I just took Milani's Jewel FX and applied a couple of coats over the tips of my nails. This look is much simpler than it seems because after that, all you have to do is cover it with top coat for a shinier look, and you're done!

Hope you liked it!

Leopard Print Nails

Today I decided to try leopard print nails!

The colors I used for this are:
O.P.I - Up Front and Personal
O.P.I - Black Shatter
Milani - One Coat Glitter Gold Glitz

First I took O.P.I's up front and personal and put on about 2-3 coats. You can make a gradient if you'd like, or make it even all over.

Next I took Milani's gold glitz and painted random shapes on the tips of my nails. Make sure these shapes are not completely circular, and all of them are different! That way it will look much more natural.

Then I took O.P.I's black shatter (I didn't have any black nail polish other than this haha) and painted random circles and lines around the shapes I drew in the previous step.

Cover it with topcoat if you'd like, and you're done!
